Review: Cocoa Patisserie by Ali Imdad

Hello, hello!
Today I want to talk about a pop-up shop, which sold amazing desserts, known as “Cocoa” or “Cocoa Patisserie” by Ali Imdad. #Cocoabyali is the official hashtag! Do you know of Ali Imdad? He was a contestant on the Great British Bake Off a few years ago (Google him!), and a fellow Brummie.

Review: Madcup coffee shop!

Hello blog, it’s been a while!
I didn’t mean to abandon you!!! I was just so busy from around August, until NOW! Feb 2017! Happy (belated) New Year! I hope I can keep blogging regularly this year, there’s so much I want to share and talk about! Today I want to talk about my new favourite café, Madcup!

If you’re familiar with Birmingham, you may have noticed that the food scene has been changing quite a lot over the past few years, and Madcup is most certainly a welcome addition! My Instagram pics whipped up a flurry of excitement amongst my friends, who are all eager to pay Madcup a visit!

Hotcake! So good!

Q-Pot love: Q-Pot café!

For many years I’ve been a big fan of the brand Q-pot, who specialised in sweets themed jewellery and accessories, and not only do they have a gorgeous store, they have a lovely café right opposite, which can both be found in Omotesando!  Recently the café and brand have gathered a lot of attention due to their collaborations with Sailor Moon. Unfortunately, I’ve never been in Tokyo at the same time a collaboration is happening!

Review: Karaoke Box Birmingham

Hello Lovelies!
A few weeks ago Karaoke Box ran a competition on fb, and I won! Whuuu! My prize was a free 2 hour karaoke session! Which is great, as I had been meaning to go anyway! I totally LOVE Karaoke! I used to live in South Korea, where I always ended up in a Karaoke place (also known as noraebang) at least once a week, and it’s a must when I visit Japan too! So with my previous Karaoke experience, I thought I’d give you a little review of Karaoke Box, especially if you're someone who is specifically looking for info on this location! J

Review: Afternoon tea at the Hilton Garden Inn, Brindley Place, Birmingham.

I absolutely adore afternoon tea, and whilst there are many places offering it in Birmingham, I have yet to try out the majority of them, as I have fallen in love with the afternoon tea experience at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Brindley Place. I can honestly say that I have been 5 times throughout 2015. Yes, five times! ^^; This was actually the place I first had afternoon tea, as I took my friend who was visiting from Japan who wanted to experience it, but ever since that afternoon I've been addicted! Whenever I arrange to have afternoon tea, I ALWAYS end up going back here, because I've always had such a great experience every time I've been, and I think the price is very reasonable!
